Red Fox Characteristics:

Red Foxes are quite interesting and unique animals with some very defining characteristics. One notable characteristic would be their iconic red and orange coat which influences their name. They don't just have a red and orange coat though their coat also has white fur around their bellies and tails and black fur around their ears and legs. Red foxes are known to be quite intelligent creatures and being quite adaptative. This behavior has been imprinted into human culture with many knowing as foxes as cunning. Red Foxes go through their mating cycle typically around January through March. In which it’s the only time they use dens other than raising kits. Red Foxes are more reclusive type animals especially compared to other canines. They are more active during the day and usually hunt at dusk, dawn, and sometimes at night.
